30 or Bust! The new mantra for a new season of life! There’s nothing more exhilarating than waking up to a new day and embracing opportunities to reflect, grow, experience, and be thankful for the little and large moments in life. With an opportunity for an authentic western adventure in southern Wyoming, my husband and I jumped — a big jump! Surrounded by horses, cows, and other critters, breathtaking views in every direction, a community of friends and family not far down the dirt roads … Scary? Not really. Refreshing and invigorating? 100%!
Creative inspiration abounds — so much that I wrestle daily with whether to write, paint, or simply sit and stare. Plenty of stories percolate in my mind as I’m writing novels, the landscape endlessly inspires my own paintings, and hosting art and writing retreats at the ranch and art studio enriches my heart like no other. An offering of online art courses keeps me connected to those far away.
